Marisa Drew was a brilliant host for a fireside chat with Scilla at 8.30am (!) at the annual One Young World Summit on Friday 25 October, which convenes 2,000 of the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. In a side meeting on peace building, these exceptional young social entrepreneurs from Colombia, Venezuela, Mali, Kurdistan, the Balkans, Iran and Iraq described their experiences – they simply left Scilla in awe of their courage and skill. With such talent being committed to preventing armed conflict, as is now happening across the entire world, and if we give them our full support, there is now good reason to plan for an eventual world without war.
